USS GrunionHistoryCrewAbele FamilyExpedition '06-'07Expedition '18

Abele Family
The USS Grunion lies on the sea floor at the base of an extinct underwater volcano 3000 feet below the surface of the treacherous northern waters of the Bering Sea. At the end of Grunion’s slide trail, which we follow metaphorically as well as physically, is the hallowed resting place of the 70 member crew of the USS Grunion, forever “on eternal patrol.”
